1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture when you sign up (directly or via Google Sign-In)
• Saved places and location data: Saved addresses, recent addresses, destination labels, address strings, latitude and longitude, detection radius, search radius, and whether an arrival alert is active or permanent
• Current and background location: With your permission, the app accesses precise or approximate device location to show nearby chargers, update widgets, support Android Auto charger search, and detect when you enter a saved destination area for arrival alerts. Background location is used only for arrival alerts and geofence sync while those features are enabled.
• Charger activity: Favorite chargers, chargers you choose to watch, charger notification history, charger names, station IDs, addresses, coordinates, availability counts, power details, and watch-session status
• Notifications and device data: Push notification tokens, platform, app version, device identifier, notification permission state, and delivery-related records used to send charger and service notifications
• Subscription and billing metadata: Subscription status, platform, product ID, trial dates, expiration dates, RevenueCat identifier, and subscription event records. We do not store full payment card details.
• Diagnostics and security data: Session records, hashed authentication and reset tokens, device platform, device model, operating system version, app version, rate-limit records, and error logs needed to secure and operate the Service
• Usage and preferences: Preferred language, navigation app choice, notification preferences, charger-watch settings, timestamps, and interactions needed to provide and improve the Service

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Provide location-based features including nearby charger search, saved destinations, widgets, Android Auto charger search, geofencing, and arrival alerts
• Send you notifications about charger availability based on your subscriptions
• Validate subscriptions, provide paid features, restore purchases, and manage entitlement status
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Sync your subscriptions and preferences across devices
• Detect abuse, protect accounts, troubleshoot errors, and keep the Service reliable
• Improve and optimize the Service
• Communicate with you about service updates

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use secure databases and encrypted connections to protect your information. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Mapping and geocoding providers: Used to search addresses, convert addresses to coordinates, convert coordinates to addresses, and display charger/location information.
• Push notification services: Firebase Cloud Messaging and platform notification services for delivering notifications.
• Google Play Billing and RevenueCat: Used to sell, validate, restore, and manage subscriptions. These providers process purchase and entitlement records under their own privacy terms.
• Charger data providers: We source charger availability data from third-party APIs.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored by the Service
• Update or correct your account information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential notifications
• Export your data

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Current device location used for nearby search, arrival detection, widgets, or Android Auto is used to complete the requested action and is not kept as a continuous location history. Saved destinations, recent addresses, charger favorites, alert settings, notifications, sessions, and subscription records remain until you delete them, delete your account, or they are no longer needed to provide the Service. If you have an active paid plan, account deletion completes after cancellation succeeds. Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment providers may keep billing records under their own retention rules.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and improve your experience. These are essential for the Service to function properly.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
